Thistle Patterns makes notecards, fabric, wallpaper, and giftwrap. All thistle patterns are handdrawn and painted by Fallon Chase.
Out of a love for leafy vines, happy flowers, and painterly surfaces, Fallon hopes to bring lush tangly gardens to daily life. Her patterns use various combinations of watercolor, gouache, acrylic paint, graphite, sumi ink and colored pencil.
Fallon recenly graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, MD with a BFA in Painting and Literature. She now lives in Washington DC where she works, paints, reads, and makes patterns.
